I have always loved to draw, paint and take photos.

I received a BA with a concentration in Painting from the University of Dallas in 1996.

When I moved to Lubbock in 2009, I decided to pursue my love of photography and opened Therese Barrett Fine Art Photography.

Continuing to learn and expand my skills is very important to me. 

I received my professional certification from the Professional Photographers of America in 2014.

I started participating in PPA's International Print Competition several years ago. 

As a result, I received my Master of Photography degree from the PPA in 2019.

In 2019 I purchased and renovated my new space in the Depot District in Lubbock, TX.  I love being a part of downtown Lubbock.

I believe in making art for your family, not an outdated "disk of files."
